In the second quarter of 2022, the top Maps and Navigation apps in Switzerland displayed a range of performance metrics, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the leading apps in this category.

SBB Mobile had consistent weekly downloads, peaking at 4.2K during the week of April 18. The app maintained a steady base of active users, rising from 357K at the start of the quarter to approximately 378K by the end of June. However, it did not generate any revenue during this period.

swisstopo experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 6.6K in the week of May 23. Weekly revenue saw a downward trend, starting at $111 and falling to around $10 by the end of June. Active users for the app ranged between 38K and 47K throughout the quarter.

GPS+ Maps, Navigation, Traffic showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $25 in the week of May 30. Downloads were consistent, averaging around 2.2K per week. Active users grew from 3K to approximately 3.5K by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride saw a peak in weekly downloads at 6.8K during the week of April 11. Active users increased from 196K to around 218K over the quarter. The app did not generate revenue during this time.
